So, since the show I’ve been to Richmond and Atlanta and my brother is coming next week and I’m trying to get a puppet show put together REALLY quickly and I’m printing t-shirts and canvas bags and cleaning my apartment and a whole ton of other stuff.  I’m about a week behind the day I told people I would have show pics up so I’m going to do that first and then pictures from the aquarium.

Hey, I’m in Richmond (seat of the confederacy) for the Southern Graphics Conference. Sleeping on floors, drinking beer, talking about art…yup, pretty good. The panel I saw today kind of blew but I saw some pretty AWESOME work at the galleries tonight.

I gave out some Hub Bub swag and talked to some people from Notre Dame and the Athens girls. I’m still waiting for Max White to show up, though.

Oh yeah. The show went pretty well. Not quite as many people as I thought would show up did show up but it was still a pretty good turnout and really fun. Thanks for coming.

Our final show opens on March 25.  The opening reception is from 7-9pm and Rachel will be reading at 8pm.

I helped Nikki Caulk hang the Boys and Girls Club Photo Show today in the gallery.  Its a pretty good and its a great idea to let kids take pictures from their perspective.  It’ll be up all week, come check it out.

Last night I got a decent amount of work done…I’m getting really close to finishing one of my sculptures and I did a bunch of pronto-plate lithos with explosion imagery and pearlescent pigment. I’m not sure what they are going to look like exactly when they are done…but I feel like I’m on the track of something.

I’m beginning to see the final show coming together. We only have about a week left before it has to be up. My major issue is mounting the work. The lack of a table saw makes it near impossible. I’m pretty much going to have to hire somebody to do it for me unless I can get the lumber yard to do some cutting for me.

I also had an interview with a reporter about the final show. The opening for the final show is March 25 (my birthday) from 7-9pm and Rachel will be reading at 8pm. Hope everybody can make it.
